Katie Holmes Layers a Lacy Bra Under Her Cozy Chanel Cardigan

Katie Holmes was the chicest person in the room yesterday evening at Chanel’s star-studded dinner in New York City, celebrating the opening of the house’s new watch and fine jewelry flagship boutique on Fifth Avenue. And she didn’t have to sacrifice comfort to be that girl.
The Alone Together star and writer-director attended the fashionable event in a cozy suit look from the brand. The elegant cotton tweed set in a deep navy hue consisted of a boxy cardigan embellished with pockets and round tortoiseshell buttons, and breezy high-waisted stretch pants with an opening at the ankles and a polka-dot print on the inside, which peeked out as Holmes walked.
A similar pair of pants from the Spring/Summer 2024 pre-collection retails on Chanel’s site for $4,600, and a matching jacket is priced at $9,500.
Holmes layered the half-open cardigan over a lacy black bralette, and added some shimmer to the V neckline with a white diamond rosette necklace with strands of diamonds cascading from the center. She finished the monochrome winter look with pretty black-and-beige round-toe heels from Chanel with a strap at the ankle.
The Dawson’s Creek alum carried a black micro quilted bag with the house’s iconic chain strap, and added white diamond hoop earrings, a diamond cluster bracelet, and a diamond ring to match her necklace.
As for glam, she stuck to her low-key style in a one-sided braid, natural, rosy makeup, and a candy-apple red lip, championing the color of the season.
