Katie Couric Drops Dating Bombshell About 'Good Kisser' Bob Saget

Katie Couric got a little personal with Bob Saget's widow, Kelly Rizzo, during her recent appearance on Couric's podcast, even talking about how he was a "good kisser."
During the Oct. 24 episode of her iHeart podcast Next Question with Katie Couric, Rizzo helped her host the show while Full House actor John Stamos was the official guest. Couric told Rizzo of Saget, “I had a date with him once, as you know. I really liked him. I found him so cute and funny and amusing.”
She also revealed that she and Saget shared a "pretty nice kiss" in her apartment foyer, noting that he was a "good kisser."
In response to Couric's story, Rizzo spoke about how much her late husband "adored" the TV journalist, before Couric joked, "Well, not enough to call me again.”
However, Couric made sure to note, “But that’s OK, because it all worked out. He found the love of his life with you.”
Stamos also commented on Saget's opinion of Couric, stating that he was "intimidated" by her. He went on to reveal that he used to have to help Saget out with dates, saying, "I would tell him what to text and what to say and what to do on these dates."
In fact, Stamos said that he helped Saget out with his date with Couric. "I should have gone back to my texts and seen, because I feel like I was texting him [before your date],” he said. “‘Don’t blow it. Act smart around Katie. She’s a very intelligent woman, she’s not just beautiful. Be careful, Bob.'”
Saget was married to Sherri Kramer between 1982 and 1997, and together they had three kids. He then began a relationship with Rizzo in 2015, with the two tying the knot in 2018.
Saget passed away at the age of 65 in January 2022. Shortly after his passing, it was confirmed that the comedian died from head trauma.
