Katharine McPhee, 40, glittered in gold at a special charity event during a recent night out with husband David Foster, 74.

The singer arrived at the 2024 Gateway Celebrity Fight Night wearing a sparkling tan-colored form-fitting dress with a halter neckline and no back to show off her toned physique. She paired the dress with gold earrings, soft and subtle makeup and a high bun hairstyle. By her side, Foster looked sharp in a classic suit and tie.

The event, which took place at the Scottsdale Fairmont Princess in Scottsdale, Arizona, raised money for cancer research. McPhee was a special guest at the event, while her husband served as musical director. Meanwhile, singer Michael Bublé performed at the event, Joey Fatone served as emcee and Caroline Rhea was the celebrity auctioneer.

Both McPhee and Foster are very musically talented, and the couple is currently touring together, performing An Intimate Evening with David Foster and Katharine McPhee at various locations in the U.S.

The two also have a young son named Rennie who is already taking after them in a big way. At only 3 years old, he is an extremely talented drummer and already made his stage debut this year when he joined his father for a performance at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C.

McPhee shared a video of the memorable moment on social media, with the clip showing the 40-year-old watching proudly as Rennie expertly navigated his perfectly-sized drum set.

McPhee and Foster welcomed Rennie in February 2021, almost two years after the couple married in London. The two first met many years ago in 2006, when McPhee was on American Idol and Foster was a mentor on the show, but it wasn't until the late 2010s that they started their romance.
