Do you believe in ghosts? Prince William and Kate Middleton seem unbothered if there's a ghost haunting the halls of Anmer Hall, their country home in Norfolk.

A ghost story about Anmer Hall was recently shared by Richard Felix, a "paranormal historian" on Hello! A Right Royal Podcast. "When the Prince of Wales and Princess of Wales moved into Anmer Hall, it’s more or less on the Sandringham Estate, there was a ghost there of a Catholic priest that lived there and was hanged, drawn and quartered for high treason, and for some reason, has returned to his home," Felix said. "Although he was executed in York, they’ve actually heard his voice. And they have seen the ghost of what they say is a priest, wandering around Anmer Hall." The priest that Felix is likely referring to is Henry Walpole, a Jesuit priest who was executed at York in 1595. His family.

Felix continued, "Before the Waleses moved in, they were warned about the ghost and the comment was, I presume it was from Prince William, he said, 'No old hall would be complete without a ghost, would it?'"

The Waleses moved into Anmer Hall full-time after the birth of Princess Charlotte, and a major renovation to the house, which Queen Elizabeth reportedly didn't understand. "I remember when they had just finished renovating Anmer Hall, and they invited the Queen over for lunch," biographer Sally Bedell Smith said. "They have one of those big kitchens with eating areas, and she said, 'I can't understand why everybody spends their time in the kitchen.'"

A few years later, apartment 1A at Kensington Palace became their main residence, and as of last summer, they now live mainly in Windsor at Adelaide Cottage.
