WHAT OTHER PLACES ARE HOSTING?

Messenger Coffee, States Soccer and No Vacancy are hosting watch parties at Messenger’s coffee shop at 1624 Grand Blvd. They’re transforming the second floor into an elevated living room experience with coffee, craft cocktails and more.

The pop-up is inspired by No Vacancy’s “Le Lounge” concept and will be featured at Messenger from now until Dec. 18, the day of the FIFA World Cup final.

They’re hosting watch parties for team USA’s games on Nov. 21, 25, 29 and more if the team makes it out of the group stage. Following the game on Nov. 25, No Vacancy is hosting an after party at their Crossroads location on 1717 Wyandotte St.

“We enjoyed providing creative and environmental direction for this pop-up space as it combines my personal and professional passions and allows us to collaborate with likeminded businesses in the city,” Spencer Sight, founder, designer and owner of No Vacancy, said in a statement. “Our design will create a unique, curated and intimate space to watch the World Cup and bring the community together around soccer.”
