Kansas City police locate missing woman, 43, last seen Sunday morning

Update: Police on Monday afternoon said Sochil Tinoco had been found safe.

Kansas City police are asking for help finding a 43-year-old woman who went missing Sunday.

Sochil A. Tinoco was last seen at about 1 a.m. Sunday in the 6900 block of Northwest 83rd Terrace driving her white GMC Terrain SUV, according to a news release from the Kansas City Police Department. She may have been heading to 5510 East Truman Road, police said.

Tinoco stands at about 5-feet-2-inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds, police said. She was last seen wearing a green and yellow floral dress with tan boots.

Anyone who sees Tinoco is asked to call 911.

No other information was immediately available.
