Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

El Pirata, 1031 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had 15 priority violations during a July 21 routine inspection.

Pine & Bamboo Garden, 10915 W. 63rd St., Shawnee, had 12 priority violations during a July 25 routine inspection.

Hira’s Steak & Sushi, 15202 B W. 119th St., Olathe, had 10 priority violations during a July 20 inspection following a complaint.

Jazz A Louisiana Kitchen, Legends Outlets Kansas City, 1859 Village West Parkway, No. 102, Kansas City, Kansas, had 10 priority violations during a July 21 routine inspection.

Tapatio Mexican Grill, 151 S. 18th St., Suite A, Kansas City, Kansas, had nine priority violations during a July 25 routine inspection.

Cosentino’s Price Chopper, Ranch Mart North, 3700 W. 95th St., Leawood, had eight priority violations during a July 21 inspection following a complaint.

Grab N Go, 1200 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had seven priority violations during a July 25 routine inspection.
