The Chiefs will take on a motivated but not desperate Las Vegas Raiders team on Monday Night Football in Week 5.

The Raiders won their first game on Sunday, defeating the Denver Broncos 32-23 behind an effective running game. Josh Jacobs rushed for a career-best 144 yards and the Raiders gained 212 on the ground for a 5.6-yard average.

“We kind of had the mindset we wanted this to be a physical game and leaned on Josh and the running game a little bit more than what we have and really established that,” first-year Raiders coach Josh McDaniels said. “Our goal was to try to make it that kind of game and make it a fourth-quarter game.”

Playing in prime-time, Las Vegas will run into a Chiefs defense that just held the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to 3 rushing yards TOTAL in six attempts, part of an overwhelmingly positive performance in a 41-31 Kansas City victory Sunday night.

Monday’s game will mark the Raiders’ third AFC West game in five weeks.
