Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders: When, where, odds... and the playoff picture

KC Star file photo

The Chiefs remain alive for the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, and the next big game in that quest comes on Monday Night Football, when the Buffalo Bills visit the Cincinnati Bengals.

The picture: The Chiefs stand 13-3. The Bills are 12-3 and the Bengals 11-4.

If Buffalo wins Monday, the Chiefs would need to win at the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 18 and the Bills would have to lose at home to the New England Patriots.

A Bengals victory would push the Chiefs into the No 1 seed, which the Chiefs would clinch with a victory in Las Vegas on Saturday. Kickoff is 3:30 p.m. (Central).

For playoff seeding, the Chiefs have to finish with a better record than the Bills or Bengals because of Kansas City’s regular-season losses to those teams.

Late season playoff jockeying drama ... the NFL loves it.
