Kansas City Chiefs vs. Houston Texans: When, where, odds, how to watch, series history

David Zalubowski/AP

The Houston Texans nearly pulled off the biggest upset of the season but fell to the Dallas Cowboys 27-23 on Sunday. The Texans will try to complete the deal when the Chiefs visit next Sunday.

The Cowboys scored the game’s final 10 points, including Ezekiel Elliott’s touchdown run with 41 seconds remaining, to survive.

The Chiefs (10-3) experienced something of a survival themselves, holding off the Denver Broncos 34-28 after taking a 27-0 lead. The Texans fell to 1-11-1 with Sunday’s loss.

This will mark the first meeting between the teams since the 2020 opening game. The Chiefs were coming off their Super Bowl LIV victory, defeating the Texans in the playoffs along the way. They again defeated Houston in that season opener, winning 34-20 at GEHA FIeld at Arrowhead.
