Kansas City area health inspections: Tanner’s Bar & Grill, Port Fonda, Hen House, more

Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links to the reports are not available).

Pan-Asia Supermarket, 11940 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, had 15 priority violations during a Sept. 14 routine inspection.

Tanner’s Bar & Grill, 3900 Rainbow Blvd., Kansas City, Kansas, had 10 priority violations during a Sept. 13 inspection following a complaint.

El Salvadoreno, 9860 W. 87th St., Overland Park, had nine priority violations during a Sept. 14 follow-up inspection.

Aoyama Ramen, 14960 W. 119th St., Olathe, had eight priority violations during a Sept. 14 routine inspection.

Captain D’s, 7525 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had eight priority violations during a Sept. 16 inspection following a complaint.

El Saguaro Mexican Grill & Night Club, 920 E. Old 56, Olathe, had seven priority violations during a Sept. 13 routine inspection.

Hen House Market, 8120 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas, had seven priority violations during a Sept. 15 routine inspection.

Hen House Market, 15000 W. 87th St. Parkway, Lenexa, had seven priority violations during a Sept. 13 routine inspection.

The Kansas City Health Department cited these operations for seven or more critical health code violations:

Port Fonda, Westport, 4141 Pennsylvania Ave., had nine critical violations during a Sept. 18 routine inspection.

PowerPlay Entertainment Center, 509 N.W. Barry Road, had seven critical violations during a Sept. 16 routine inspection.
