Dior and Jordan Brand released only 8,500 pairs of the costly kicks, which sold out immediately at their $2,200 retail price. They now sell for thousands more on resale websites.

Sneakerheads first noticed the “Air Diors” while Sen. Amy Klobuchar was speaking, launching an online investigation into who was wearing them. Bobby Kim, founder of a streetwear company, went straight to the source and asked Meena Harris if Ajagu was the man in question.

“Yes smh,” she replied.

Ajagu was later photographed with his and Harris’ two children, further confirming that he was the man who dared to drip.

“I step away from Twitter for less than an hour for the inauguration ceremony and Nik’s shoes are #1 trending?????” Harris wrote after retweeting several shoutouts to her husband.

Ajagu is global head of partnerships at Facebook, according to his LinkedIn page. Harris recently released a children’s book, “Kamala and Maya’s Big Idea,” about her mother, Maya, and her aunt, who was sworn in as Vice President on Wednesday.
