Nashville's seven-time Grammy winner Kacey Musgraves is set to be the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" on Sat. March 2. She will perform along with host, "Euphoria" and "Anyone But You" actress, Sydney Sweeney.
In promos for this week's show, Musgraves, Sweeney and "SNL" cast member Heidi Gardner joke about bringing serious girl power to this week's show in celebration of March being Women's History Month.

Has Kacey Musgraves been on 'SNL' before?
Yes. This will mark the singer's third time as a musical guest on the show. Her debut "SNL" performance was in 2018, with her second appearance in 2021. She is performing this weekend in support of her newest album, "Deeper Well" which is slated to be released on March 15.
Where and when can I watch Kacey Musgraves on 'SNL'?
The show will air at 10:30 p.m. Central Time on NBC. It will also stream on Peacock, NBC's official streaming service.
Other streaming services that offer NBC are Fubo.tv and DirecTV, both of which offer free trials. For those with a Hulu subscription, full episodes of "SNL" are available the following day.
What was the inspiration for 'Deeper Well,' her forthcoming album?
The Tennessean previously reported the inspiration for this latest album was time Musgraves spent in Manhattan's West Village at the iconic Electric Lady Studios which are across Sixth Avenue from legendary hangouts frequented by the likes of Bob Dylan and Pete Seeger to writers like Allen Ginsburg and Jack Kerouac.
The lead single and title track of "Deeper Well" has already been released.
"Sometimes you reach a crossroads. Winds change direction. What you once felt drawn to doesn't hold the same allure," Musgraves said in a statement. "You get blown off course but eventually find your footing and forage for new inspiration, new insight and deeper love somewhere else."

Is Kacey Musgraves coming to Nashville on her next tour?
Yes. Musgraves announced her 44-date world tour and will close out the run on Dec. 6 and 7 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at kaceymusgraves.com/tour on International Women's Day — March 8 — at 10 a.m. local time.
Kicking off in Dublin on April 28, the North American leg commences on Sept. 4 in State College, Pennsylvania. Support artists for the Deeper Well World Tour include Madi Diaz, Father John Misty, Lord Huron, and Nickel Creek.
