Timberlake's last trips to Austin were in 2013 for the South by Southwest Music Festival and in 2017 for Formula 1. The Statesman wrote that his "epic performance" at F1 showed that he's "a top notch performer with an endless arsenal of serious skills" as well as a "remarkable" sonic range.

The Forget Tomorrow World Tour news comes on the heels of Timberlake releasing his new single "Selfish" and announcing an album called "Everything I Thought I Was," which hits stores and streaming platforms on March 15. The album is Timberlake's first since 2018.
