Justin Bieber's Ex Sofia Richie Reacts to Hailey Bieber's Pregnancy

The Biebers announced on Thursday, May 9 that they are expecting their first baby together

Justin Bieber's exes might be done chillin' by the fire eating fondue with the singer, but they're still happy to send him well wishes on his baby news.

After the "Baby" singer, 30, shared that he is expecting his first baby with wife Hailey Bieber, 27, on Thursday, May 9, the happy couple received congratulations from all their family and friends — including a few of Justin's exes.

On Hailey's Instagram post announcing the exciting news, Justin's former flame Sofia Richie, who is also expecting her first baby, commented, "Ahh! Congratulations."

Justin and Sofia, 25, briefly dated in the summer of 2016. The two were together for six weeks before breaking up.

“We have a special relationship. Justin is very easy to talk to, and that’s hard to find with people in Los Angeles,” Richie said in an interview with Billboard at the time.

Underneath Justin's Instagram post, his ex Caitlin Beadles, 29, commented, "Congrats, happy for y'all!" Beadles was Justin's first girlfriend and they dated for one year after meeting in 2008, according to E! News. The pair have remained friends ever since, with Beadles attending the musician's wedding to Hailey in 2019.

After announcing their joyful baby news on Instagram, a rep for Hailey confirmed to PEOPLE that the model is just over six months pregnant.

Posting a video from their vow renewal, Hailey wore a long, lacy white dress and a veil, highlighting her growing bump. She also included a few photos, standing with Justin in a field. Placing his arms around her belly, Justin stood behind her, showing off their matching wedding rings.

The pregnant model kept her caption simple, just tagging her husband.

A source later told PEOPLE that the day the parents-to-be found out their pregnancy news was "just the best day for them."

"Everyone is excited for them," the source said. "They will be great parents, and Justin will be super involved. This will be the next important project for him. He’s so excited to raise his baby. They have a name that they think is perfect. They’re also starting to decorate a nursery. They can’t wait to meet the baby."
