Julianne Moore Swears By This $10 Drugstore Cleanser For Glowing Skin At 62

And if you’re anything like us, you’ve probably been wondering what the 62-year-old’s secret is to perfect skin. Hint: It’s the Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser.

Luckily for us, in a recent interview with Vogue Moore revealed her skincare routine and the products she loves to help her achieve glowing skin. And despite the actress noting that her “skincare routine has gotten more and more complicated” as she’s gotten older, the drugstore favorite Cetaphil face wash remains to be a staple in her routine. “I’ve always been careful about washing my skin and wearing sunscreen,” Moore explained.

“I travel a lot so I need to find something that I can get all over the world,” Moore said of her go-to face cleanser. “So, I use a pretty standard face wash—Cetaphil.” She applies the cleanser into her wet hands and then massages it into her face before using an exfoliating cloth to further work in the cleanser, being careful not to “rub too hard” to avoid damaging her skin.

It’s no wonder Moore enjoys this cleanser to prep her skin for the rest of her products. Marisa Garshick, M.D., F.A.A.D., board-certified dermatologist at MDCS in New York also enjoys this gel-to-foam cleanser because it cleanses without stripping skin of its natural moisture, while washing away excess oil, dirt, and makeup. It won’t irritate or dry out the skin, and is gentle enough to use twice daily, she previously told Prevention.

It does a thorough job at removing oil and makeup but is still gentle on the skin and non-drying,” another raves.
