Jujutsu Kaisen Fighting Game Finally Gets A Release Date

Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash promo trailer

Earlier in the year, Bandai Namco announced Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash, the first Jujutsu Kaisen game. We’d seen Jujutsu Kaisen appear as one of the many anime crossovers in Fortnite, but this will be the first time it’s gotten its own game. Now, Bandai Namco have released a new trailer, revealing the release date for Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash.

The new trailer for the game shows off a bunch of characters and features in the game, as well as a great look at the gameplay. It’s a 2v2 arena fighter developed by Byking, which previously developed the My Hero One’s Justice games and the somewhat cult classic arcade games Gunslinger Stratos.

There are over 15 characters from the Jujutsu Kaisen anime to play as, and each pair will apparently complement each other with their cursed techniques. There will also be a decent amount of customization, with a bunch of different outfits and accessories to choose from.

Bandai Namco revealed a few different editions for the game, with some fancy ones offering extra costumes and other goodies. All editions will come with a preorder bonus of a Jujutsu High First-Year Outfit set, while the Digital Deluxe edition will come with extra DLC and a baseball minigame. A Digital Ultimate edition will include all of that, plus a digital artbook and soundtrack, and another set of outfits.

The game also got a release date in the trailer, as previously announced. Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on February 2, 2024.
