Journal hosting special event with 'Wallace the Brave' creator. How you can attend

Come meet the creator behind the "Wallace the Brave" comic in a special meet and greet hosted by The Providence Journal.

This event takes place on Wednesday, May 15, from 6-7 p.m. at the new Maury Loontjens Memorial Library in Narragansett. The event is free and family-friendly, but registration is required as space is limited.

During this family-friendly presentation, award-winning comic artist Will Henry will share stories about the history behind the "Wallace the Brave" comic that appears in The Journal and publications across the United States, along with his evolution of drawing comics. During the presentation he'll also be drawing live and finishing with a question and answer session.

"Wallace the Brave" chronicles the life of a young boy and his friends growing up in the fictional town of Snug Harbor. Will Henry is the pen name of William Henry Wilson, who grew up in Matunuck and now lives in Jamestown.
