Terrell Owens and Johnny Manziel are football legends. What else do the two have in common? They’ll soon be teammates.

That’s right. Owens is returning to football. So is Manziel. However, they’re not attempting an NFL comeback.

T.O. and “Johnny Football” have agreed to join the Fan Controlled Football league to play for the Zappers. No, this isn’t a joke.

Naturally, football fans are hyped. Who doesn’t want to see Owens catching TD passes from Manziel?

“48-year-old Hall of Famer Terrell Owens has agreed to join the Fan Controlled Football league and he’s likely to play for the Zappers. His QB would be Johnny Manziel,” Air Meirov tweets.

“NFL legend Terrell Owens is coming out of retirement, per @Reuters. The 48-year-old Hall of Famer reportedly plans to join the Zappers of startup Fan Controlled Football. The Zappers QB? Johnny Manziel,” Front Office Sports wrote.

“After retiring 12 years ago, NFL legend Terrell Owens is making a comeback,” The Game Day NFL said. “The 48-year-old HoFer plans to join Johnny Manziel and the Zappers of the Fan Controlled Football League.”

Everyone keeps making the same joke that Terrell Owens and Johnny Manziel in the Fan Controlled Football league will be like Tom Brady and Randy Moss in the NFL.

The Fan Controlled Football league will definitely be worth watching once the season rolls around.
