John Wayne family members to visit Fort Worth Stockyards for book signing

John Wayne’s daughter and granddaughter will visit the Fort Worth Stockyards this weekend to visit the exhibit John Wayne: An American Experience and sign copies of two recently published books.

Marisa Wayne, Wayne’s youngest daughter, and Anita LaCava Swift, the actor’s eldest grandchild, will be at the Historic Exhibits Building between 1-3 p.m. on Saturday to sign copies of John Wayne: The Official Cocktail Book and DUKE: The Official John Wayne Movie Book, according to a news release.

John Wayne: The Official Cocktail Book includes over 70 step-by-step recipes and tips on how to craft cocktails inspired by some of Wayne’s iconic roles including Rooster Cogburn and Davy Crockett. The cocktail book is $27.99.

DUKE: The Official John Wayne Movie Book covers every movie made by Wayne with hundreds of photographs along with movie posters, lobby cards, costumes and more. The book is priced at $24.99.

The signing is free to attend. Tickets to the exhibit are $21.95 for adults, $17.95 for kids 6-12 and free for five and under. Tickets for the exhibit can be purchased online at the John Wayne: An American Experience website.
