John Adams' Michael Camilleri is The Tribune's high school student of the week for April 19

Congratulations to Michael Camilleri of John Adams High School. He was voted by Tribune readers as the South Bend Tribune Student of the Week for April 19.

Michael Camilleri. John Adams High School: Michael Camilleri, a senior at John Adams High School, has a current GPA of 4.4423 and is on track to be one of the school’s valedictorians this year. Michael’s mock trial team placed third at the state competition last year and his Quiz Bowl team, which placed third at state this year, is preparing for nationals. Michael, a full international baccalaureate student, is the president of the National Honor Society at Adams, a Spanish Honors Society Officer and a volunteer at his local church. In addition, he’s involved in varsity cross country, track, soccer and swimming. Michael is a highly engaging individual and a student who is always upbeat and an encouragement to others.
