Joe Mixon, former Cincinnati RB traded to Houston, gets three-year, $27 million extension
Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon signed a three-year, $27 million contract extension that includes $13 million guaranteed, according to a multiple reports Thursday night.
The Cincinnati Bengals announced Wednesday that they traded Mixon to the Texans.
Mixon thanked his teammates and Cincinnati, calling it "forever a place I call home."
The Bengals thanked Mixon for his seven seasons in Cincinnati, adding that he'll "always be a part of Who Dey Nation."
"I gotta say it was definitely shocking," Mixon said Thursday of the trade.

The Bengals announced Thursday that they signed former Indianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss.
