Joe Burrow has no hard feelings toward T.J. Watt for what happened during Sunday afternoon’s game.

The Bengals blew out the Steelers on Sunday, winning in dominant fashion, 41-10. Cincinnati improved to 7-4 on the season, sending a clear message to the rest of the division.

While Burrow was nearly perfect on Sunday, he did make one mistake, throwing an interception. During the interception return, he got tangled up with T.J. Watt.

While many Bengals fans were upset with T.J. Watt for being so physical with their quarterback, Burrow has no hard feelings.

“He was just blocking me after the pick,” Burrow told Pro Football Talk. “[I] was going to go make the play and he decided to block me. . . . It’s football. I told him, ‘Nice block.’ I told him I wasn’t worried about it. No hard feelings.”

Burrow also joked that he’s a ways away from getting protection treatment from the refs, like Tom Brady.

“Maybe if I get 15 or 20 years down the road, maybe,” he told PFT, laughing. “Maybe six or seven Super Bowls in. I think Tom can afford that luxury and people will protect him a little more than they will a second-year quarterback.”
