Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been awfully productive this season, but he has also struggled to take care of the football. Heading into Week 14 he leads the league with 14 interceptions.

Burrow had two costly interceptions in last Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. To be fair, he was dealing with an injury to his pinky finger.

When discussing his turnover issues this Wednesday afternoon, Burrow said “It’s been something that I’ve been disappointed with this year.”

The Bengals will need Burrow to be careful this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. He can’t afford to have multiple interceptions, especially against an opponent that wants to dominate time of possession.

Despite his injury, Burrow made it abundantly clear that he will suit up this weekend.

“It’s just something I am going to have to deal with,” Burrow said, via Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic. “I am not going to miss any games because of it. Unless it somehow gets worse which I can’t imagine it is going to, I am going to play next week.”

At 7-5, the Bengals need a win this Sunday to stay firmly in the mix for a playoff spot. With so many AFC teams clustered at the top of the standings, a loss can really affect their chances of making the postseason.
