Joe Buck’s Wife Reveals Her Honest First Impression Of Him
Joe Buck’s future at FOX appears to be in question.
With Buck’s longtime broadcasting partner, Troy Aikman, reportedly heading to ESPN, many are wondering what will happen to the play-by-play man.
It’s possible that Buck will follow Aikman to ESPN. The Worldwide Leader reportedly plans on making a run at Buck, as well.
Buck, one of the top broadcasters in all of sports, comes from a sports family. His dad is a legendary broadcaster and his wife is a longtime NFL reporter.
While Buck might not be for everyone, he’s undeniably one of the top play-by-play men in sports – if not the best.
His wife, Michelle Beisner-Buck, knows where some of the surface level criticism can come from, though.

She was set up with Buck through Rich Eisen. From The Ringer:
“Don’t you want to know who it is?” Eisen asked.
“I started rattling off names,” Beisner said last month. “I was like, ‘Troy Aikman.’ ‘Cris Collinsworth.’ ‘Al Michaels,’ I even said.”
“No,” Eisen said.
“Please don’t say it’s Joe Buck,” Beisner said.
“Well,” Eisen said, “it is Joe Buck and why would you say that?”
Beisner-Buck admitted that she thought he might’ve been arrogant. However, when she ended up meeting him, it couldn’t have been less true.
“I mean, the complete and opposite end of the spectrum,” she told The Ringer.
