Joe Brady’s Coaching Preference Has Reportedly Been Revealed
When the Carolina Panthers let go of offensive coordinator Joe Brady, the college football world got excited. Especially, those down in Coral Gables.
However, CFB fans may not want to hold their breath when it comes to Brady calling plays on Saturdays.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Brady has reportedly heard from several NFL teams and would prefer to stay in the pros. And while the former LSU OC hasn’t completely shut the door on a return to college, it’s not where his head’s at right now.

Brady is credited as the mastermind behind LSU’s historic 2019 offense. He served as the passing game coordinator for the Joe Burrow-led Tigers, helping lead LSU to a national championship.
A Miami native, there have numerous reports linking Brady and “The U” in recent weeks. Especially after Mario Cristobal took the head job.
If the Hurricanes were somehow able to land Brady on their staff, it could be one of the biggest home runs of a very active 2021 coaching carousel. That said, with Brady seemingly wanting to continue coaching at the highest level it may not be in the cards for the Canes.
