Jodie Turner-Smith’s off-duty style is just as scene-stealing as her red-carpet wardrobe.

While out and about in London on Tuesday, the Queen & Slim star cut a striking figure in an outfit composed of statement-making separates. On top, she repped a white T-shirt printed with a black-and-white portrait of supermodel Naomi Campbell (who happens to be friends with Turner-Smith). The actor tucked the tee into a pleated floor-grazing skirt from Burberry, which bore the house’s signature tartan pattern—as well as an extremely long leg slit that nearly landed at the top of her hip.

To finish the look off, Turner-Smith added black lace-up combat boots, a black bandanna, narrow rectangular sunglasses with cognac lenses, and an olive-green shoulder bag. She also carried a khaki coat in one arm.

Turner-Smith talked about her approach to style in a 2022 interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK. “In my everyday style I like to be comfy, if occasionally a little extra, but I love getting to perform through clothes on a red carpet,” she said. “I’m a huge fashion fan, so it’s just a really fun opportunity to show your personality. I also really love to showcase Black designers who are often not as known.”

She added, “But at the end of the day everything we wear … it’s all costume, isn’t it? We use clothes to get into characters and, in real life, it’s the same. What we wear matters because, when the character we are inhabiting is our self, it’s a reflection of how we feel and who we are.”
