Jodie Comer and Tom Hardy's new movie confirms 2023 release date
Jodie Comer and Tom Hardy's upcoming film The Bikeriders has been given a US release date.
The movie will officially open in US theatres on December 1. This is a welcome sign after many other projects have been affected by the writers' strike, and some films have had their release dates pushed back, such as Kraven and Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
Killing Eve star Comer and Peaky Blinders actor Hardy are teaming up for this ensemble bid from writer and director Jeff Nichols (Loving, Mud), which follows the many members of a Midwestern motorcycle club and is based on Danny Lyon's book of photography.

It is unclear exactly who Comer and Hardy will be playing, but the duo are joined by plenty of Hollywood stars. Logan actor Boyd Holbrook, Man of Steel's Michael Shannon, Elvis actor Austin Butler, and The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus all feature.
The movie is being released in time for Oscars season and will surely hope to be in the running for a gong or two.
Hardy, who recently returned to CBeebies Bedtime Stories, will star as Eddie Brock AKA Venom for a third time in Venom 3. The release date of that movie is, thankfully, closer than we thought.

Meanwhile, Comer has had a good year so far — she won a Tony Award for her role in the one-woman show Prima Facie. However, she was recently forced to pull out of a performance of that show after only a few minutes due to the hazardous air in New York City.
Comer also recently addressed the rumours of her joining the cast of Marvel's Fantastic Four reboot as Sue Storm, saying that she is familiar with the characters thanks to the rumours.
"I don’t know anything about it. I feel like when I say this people are like, '…OK'. It's like you can't win either way."
The Bikeriders will be released in US cinemas on December 1. The UK release date has not yet been confirmed.
