Jo Cox’s parents join cyclists for memorial ride in MP’s memory

Jo Cox's parents have congratulated cyclists who completed a 288-mile bike ride in the politician's memory.

Around 80 people took part in the ride, which aims to keep the former Labour MP's legacy alive after her murder by a far-right terrorist in 2016.

Riders set off from the Batley and Spen constituency Mrs Cox represented last Wednesday, arriving in London Bridge on Sunday (31 July).

Jean and Gordon Leadbeater praised the ride as the “epitome” of what their daughter believed in – that people have more in common than what divides them.
