JLS and Strictly Come Dancing star Aston Merrygold and his wife Sarah have revealed they are expecting a third baby together.

The couple announced the happy news in a sweet Instagram clip, in which they begin by telling their two young sons Grayson and Macaulay that they "want to tell you something very special."

Aston then comes to the camera to show Sarah that she has a positive pregnancy test, before the pair reveal the ultrasound scans to their two sons.

The family have received a host of congratulations, including from Aston's JLS bandmates, with JB Gill writing: "The best news EVER Congratulations to you all! Big love from #TheGills."

"Love you all! So happy," added Marvin Humes, while Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon commented: "We love you!!!"

Aston reunited with his JLS bandmates JB, Marvin and Oritsé Williams in 2020 for a reunion tour, though the dates were postponed to the following year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Aston appeared on Strictly in 2017, and last year addressed the idea that the show is easier for those with previous dance experience, admitting it was more of a hindrance for him when he was on the show.

"With someone like myself, Janette [Manrara, his pro partner] was pulling her hair out because I had to stand in a certain way but I was so used to standing in the way that I do when I'm performing," he told The Daily Star.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.

Tickets for Strictly's 2024 live arena tour are available now.
