JJ Watt joined Kevin Clark on “This Is Football” and while on the show discussed the one play in his career he would change if given the opportunity.

He chose a play that involved the Dallas Cowboys when current CBS analyst Tony Romo quarterbacked the team.

“The Tony Romo play, where I beat Tyron Smith right off the line of scrimmage fast,” said Watt, “I was literally trying to kill Tony Romo. I’ve told this to his face, I was trying to break his back. That was the goal.”

Instead, Romo spun out of the sack and threw a 43-yard touchdown to Terrance Williams in a 20-17 over the Texans in Week 5 of the 2014 NFL season.

Romo was known for his ability to evade sacks and extend plays throughout his 13-year career all of which came with the Dallas Cowboys.

Watt, one of the NFL’s preeminent sack artists during his 12-year career finished with 114.5 sacks.
