Jimmy Kimmel's interview with Mike Lindell has both sides fired up

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s much-anticipated appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday got viewers riled up on both sides of the political spectrum.

For months, Lindell has been hyping conspiracy theories about fraud in the presidential election involving Dominion Voting Systems. Lindell has been claiming to have evidence of fraud, but has so far failed to share that supposed evidence. Not long into the interview, Kimmel pointed out that neither conservatives or liberals wanted Lindell to appear on the show, then immediately told Lindell what he thinks of the conspiracy claims.

“A lot of people didn’t want you to come on this show,” Kimmel said. “Liberals and conservatives, everybody told me don’t have you on the show, and they told you don’t go on the show.” “Yes they did,” Lindell agreed. “But I think it’s important to talk to each other,” Kimmel said, adding, “But I also — you know, I don’t like — I don’t think there’s any validity to any of this stuff that you’re saying.”

While there were many instances throughout the interview in which Kimmel told Lindell what he thought in no uncertain terms, the conversation was largely cordial. Still, Kimmel was castigated by conservatives.

Likewise, Kimmel was pummeled by liberals who were upset that he gave Lindell a platform.

There was one viewer, however, that was glad to see Kimmel and Lindell, who clearly don’t see eye-to-eye on quite a few things, getting along and having a civil conversation in which both expressed their views.
