Jimmy John’s ‘Deliciously Dope Dime Bag’ Has Landed — Just in Time for 4/20

It comes with the coolest rolling tray, too.

Jimmy John’s is celebrating 4/20 in style. And at a very good price.

To acknowledge the unofficial but well-known high holiday of stoners across America, the sandwich chain is offering a brand-new Deliciously Dope Dime Bag. And no, marijuana is not included, it’s a BYO pot situation if you want to celebrate accordingly.

Jimmy John’s is celebrating its identity as a popular spot to hang out while under the influence of a little plant medicine by creating a special combo meal packaged for those eager to chow down on some munchies — and then some.

The Deliciously Dope Dime Bag includes a hand-sliced smoked ham and provolone cheese sandwich topped with jalapeño ranch, Xtra oregano-basil, sliced pickles, crispy jalapeños, fresh-sliced lettuce, and tomato. On the side, a salty, crisp Jimmy John’s pickle spear, crunchy Jimmy Chips, and a gooey fudge chocolate brownie. That’s a lot more food than would fit in a typical dime bag.

In addition to the meal, the Deliciously Dope Dime Bag will come with a special treat, a Jimmy John’s branded rolling tray, or, um crumb catcher, if that’s more your thing. Talk about a happy meal.

The celebratory bundle will be available for a thematic $10 at participating restaurants, online only, with the promo code DIMEBAG. The deal launches on Tuesday, April 16, and will run through Saturday, April 20, for five full days of cannabis-inspired celebration.

“This is the fourth year Jimmy John’s has celebrated the highest of holidays and this year is extra special with the launch of the Deliciously Dope Dime Bag,” shared Kate Carpenter, vice president of integrated marketing at Jimmy John’s. “The brand is excited to continue their tradition with a curated meal, the limited-time Deliciously Dope Dime Bag, that was thoughtfully assembled to deliver the burst of flavor customers are craving this 4/20.”

Jimmy John’s is currently all over the accessory game. In March, the sandwich chain dropped a designer-inspired silk scarf in honor of the highly anticipated seasonal return of the Caprese Salami Pesto sandwich. The $75 scarf is still available for pre-order, along with many more pieces of on-trend Jimmy John’s merch including a fuzzy bucket hat, a baby swaddle, joggers, and a pickleball set.

Many more restaurants will be celebrating 4/20 this Saturday. The culinary movie theater chain, Alamo Drafthouse, will transform into Alamo Dankhouse, screening stoner-endorsed cult classics (think Dazed and Confused and The Big Lebowski) and offering munchies movie snacks such as “kool ranch” popcorn, cheddar macaroni and cheese topped with barbecue pulled pork and Funyuns, and a Cocoa Puff parfait.

To keep you going on 4/20, rejoice in the fact that it’s also National Cold Brew Day. Dunkin’ will offer free cold brew to Dunkin' Rewards members all day.
