Pizza lovers get ready to celebrate with the biggest pizza party of the year in Myrtle Beach.

On Saturday, Dec. 3 Pizza Palooza II will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pelicans ballpark stadium, which is home of The Myrtle Beach Pelicans located at 1251 21st Ave., N., Myrtle Beach.

This is a free event hosted by WPDE and Chief Meteorologist Ed Piotrowski.

Pizza Palooza was first held in 2021 when Ed Piotrowski promised viewers he would have the biggest pizza party ever if Myrtle Beach escaped the hurricane season. He carries on the tradition of the pizza party this year, hosting Pizza Palooza II with a special guest, Jim Cantore, American meteorologist from the Weather Channel.

There will be free pizza, live entertainment, children’s activities, Santa, and new this year, free fresh doughnuts cooked onsite and free gingerbread cookies.

Participating pizza places include Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Loco Gecko and Coast Pizza.

While the event is free, all are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots and/or non-perishable items for the Low Country Food Bank.

Best Golf Cars will be auctioning off a golf and the money raised will benefit the Red Cross Disaster Relief efforts in South Carolina, including victims of Hurricane Ian.

Pizza Palooza t-shirts will be sold at the event. You can place an order by clicking here. T-shirt sales will be donated to the Red Cross.
