New jewelry store comes to Tacoma Mall, fourth location for retailer in Washington state

A new jewelry store has opened at the Tacoma Mall, making it the fourth location for the brand in the state.

Lovisa opened Wednesday and is next to Gene Juarez Salon. The mall announced the store’s debut on its Instagram page.

In a release, the company said it “caters to every woman’s taste with over 150 new styles of necklaces, bracelets, rings and more, making it easy for shoppers to take home their favorite pieces at any given time.”

Other Lovisa locations include Lynnwood, Tulalip and Kennewick. The retail chain was founded in Sydney, Australia, in 2010, and now operates in 15 countries worldwide with hundreds of stores.

The new retail arrival follows the recent opening of Tacoma’s first Kohl’s store, also at the mall.

Renovations and new construction have brought several new store brands to the site since demolition of the former Sears store in 2019. Ulta Beauty, Nordstrom Rack and Total Wine & More opened in 2021, and other new retail features have launched, including a reimagined Toys R Us at Macy’s.

Lovisa store hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Black Friday has special hours of 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. After Black Friday, the hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
