A trip to a convenience store resulted in a big payday for one lucky New Jersey lottery player.

On Monday, a Essex County lottery player won the $270,502 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot, the New Jersey Lottery announced on Tuesday.

The winning ticket which matched all five numbers was sold at the 7-Eleven on Freeway Drive in East Orange.

Is 7-Eleven the new lucky spot for lottery players? On Friday, a Jersey Cash 5 jackpot was won at a 7-Eleven in Bergen County.

The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The winning Jersey Cash 5 numbers from Monday, Aug. 12 were: 01, 10, 15, 18 and 43 with XTRA: 02.

Jersey Cash 5 is a daily lottery draw game from the New Jersey Lottery. Players pick five numbers between 1 and 45 and can add the Xtra for a chance to increase non-jackpot prizes by up to five times. The Bullseye gives players another chance to win. Drawings are held seven days a week at 10:57 p.m.
