Mayim Bialik is reflecting on an emotional 2023, and her message on social media left fans swarming her with support.

The Big Bang Theory alum announced in mid-December that she would no longer be hosting the syndicated version of Jeopardy!, more than half a year after stepping back from the quiz show in support of the then-WGA strike. Amid the strike and cancellation of her Fox sitcom Call Me Kat in early May, Mayim went on X (formerly known as Twitter) to post a bare-faced selfie with her hopes for 2024.

"As the rain washes away 2023, I can't help but hope it's making way for a brighter 2024," she captioned the post on December 31, 2023. "Wishing you a year filled with joy and new beginnings! 🌟🎉."

Upon seeing the Mayim Bialik's Breakdown podcast host get emotional about what the last year has brought her, fans immediately went to the comments to support her with their own kind words.

"Will miss you on Jeopardy, wishing you good vibes and successful endeavors in 2024! 🥂," one person wrote on X. "Right back at you, Mayim!" a different follower noted. "May your future success always be in the form of a question, always a daily double and all-in on the final 👍❤️ Bazinga 😃," another penned.

While it's unclear what Mayim's next TV venture will be, at least folks can interact with her as she airs new episodes of her podcast every week. What's more, Sony (the parent company that produces Jeopardy!) seemingly inferred the actress may be back to host special editions of the hit quiz show when they confirmed her exit back in December 2023.

"We made the decision to have one host for the syndicated show next season to maintain continuity for our viewers, and Ken Jennings will be the sole host for syndicated Jeopardy!," the company shared in an official release, per TVLine at the time. "We are truly grateful for all of Mayim’s contributions to Jeopardy!, and we hope to continue to work with her on primetime specials."
