Jennifer Lopez Lounges in Sexy Plunging Gown, Seemingly Unbothered by All of It

The sultry Instagram post comes amid reports of marital tension between the star and Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez continues to make a statement with her style as she promotes her new film solo.

While she was in Mexico for the premiere of her new movie Atlas, the 54-year-old star lounged on a couch in a sexy white Chloé ruffled dress, showing off the gown’s high slit and plunging neckline. Her tan platform sandals were also front and center.

“¡Viva Mexico! 🇲🇽 @NetflixLat@Netflix#Atlas in 3 Days,” Lopez captioned the Tuesday, May 21 Instagram post, which also included a close-up shot of her sultry look.

The star wore the flowing chiffon dress, from the brand's fall 2024 ready-to-war collection, to the Atlas premiere at Mexico City’s Plaza Toreo Parque Central, where she posed on the red carpet without husband Ben Affleck amid reports that their relationship is in trouble.

Lopez wore her hair pinned up, with wispy, face-framing pieces creating an effortless, undone vibe. She also accessorized with a pair of diamond drop earrings and her wedding band.

The day prior, Monday, May 20, the actress debuted her Netflix sci-fi action movie at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, where she also stepped out without Affleck but wore her wedding ring.

For the glamorous evening, Lopez looked elegant in a strapless white crop top and floor-length, mermaid-style black skirt. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek bun and she opted for her signature soft glam makeup look.

Lopez’s red carpet appearances come amid reports of marriage tension with Affleck, 51. While the actor did not attend the premiere because he is currently filming The Accountant 2, multiple sources claim that the couple are currently living separately in Los Angeles.

They were seen together in public on Thursday, May 16 for the first time since March 30, but a source close to Lopez tells PEOPLE that Affleck has not been staying at their Los Angeles home. Instead, he is staying at one of their other properties while filming The Accountant 2.

Lopez also recently served as co-chair of the 2024 Met Gala and attended the Monday, May 6 event sans Affleck.

The couple first dated from 2002 to 2004 and after a broken engagement, both pursued other marriages. Finding themselves single again in 2021, Lopez and Affleck reconnected in 2021 and married in 2022.

They shared their special day with their blended family members: Max and Emme, the 16-year-old twins Lopez shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, whom Affleck shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
