Jennifer Lopez Had a Stern Response to Questions About Rumors of Divorce From Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez isn’t adding fuel to the fire when it comes to rumors about her marriage with Ben Affleck.
Speculation over the couple’s relationship continues to grow as Lopez moves forward with the promo tour of her latest film, a Netflix sci-fi movie called Atlas. During a press conference in Mexico City on Wednesday, she fielded questions from one inquisitive reporter who wanted to get to the bottom of the rumors.
In a video you can watch here, the reporter asked Lopez, “What is the truth behind the situation?” However, he was quickly shut down by a man off-camera who can be heard saying, “Okay, we’re not doing that.”
Meanwhile, Lopez initially reacted to the question by laughing. As the reporter pressed on, she pursed her lips and tilted her head before leaning forward and saying, “You know better than that.”
Divorce rumors first emerged after fans noticed that the couple had not been publicly sighted together in 47 days, despite the two making solo appearances at high-profile events like the Met Gala and Netflix comedy special The Greatest Roast of All Time. Reports that the couple are currently living under separate roofs and paparazzi photos of Affleck without his wedding ring exacerbated the speculation.
“Ben feels like Jen has a hard time feeling satisfied and that's one of the issues they're facing,” a source recently told Entertainment Tonight. “Ben is one of the only people who feels comfortable enough to be honest and real with Jen. It's part of why Jen loves him, but also why she's upset with him.”
Another source told the outlet that the two are working their issues out. “Jen and Ben's relationship is not over yet, but they have been staying in separate homes and the tension has been high,” the insider explained. “They are taking a second to figure out what each of them is going through and wants. Both of them have been very down.”
