Co-written by Stupnitsky and John Phillips, No Hard Feelings stars Lawrence as 32-year-old Maddie Baker, an Uber driver and bartender who struggles to make end meet and keep a roof above her head until an unusual opportunity to make some money arises, courtesy of Craiglist.

She answers an ad posted by shy Percy Becker's (Andrew Barth Feldman) parents, two cryptocurrency investors played by Matthew Broderick and Laura Benanti.

The couple worry about their son's lack of experiences before he's off to Princeton University and seeks someone who could "date" Percy and show him how to party. Maddie rises to the challenge, leading to a chaotic array of bizarre incidents that will help her forge a genuine bond with Percy.

The cast for the movie is rounded out by Dead to Me's Natalie Morales and The Bear's Ebon Moss-Bachrach, with Scott MacArthur, Kyle Mooney and Hasan Minhaj also starring.

The film hit cinemas last June, receiving mixed reviews and facing some backlash over the age gap between the two leads. Morales, who plays Maddie's friend Sara, defended the film's casting, saying: "Have you seen The Graduate? [Lawrence is] supposed to be playing an older woman."

"There are so many movies where the male lead is much older than the female lead, and TV shows especially, and nobody bats an eye," she continued. "So what's the difference."
