Jennifer Lawrence is guaranteed to turn heads whenever she steps onto a red carpet, as she did last night when she showed up to the 81st Golden Globes ceremony dressed in a deep blue velvet Dior dress. But her after-party wardrobe can be just as jaw-dropping, if not more so.

After delivering a fashion statement in velvet for the ceremony, Lawrence turned up at the after-party in another major velvet number. The outfit swap consisted of a luscious velvet maxi dress in a buttery gold, almost burnt caramel color that gleamed in the light of the paparazzi cameras's flashes. The dress included a high cowl neckline detail. To stay warm, Lawrence layered with a long velvet coat, emblazoned with a multi-gold tone cheetah print pattern and lined with a light brown fur collar. She topped the look off with a simple black clutch bag with gold hardware.

Lawrence's husband, art gallerist Cooke Maroney, joined her for the rare date night out. He looked suave in a classic black tux with a white dress shirt and a black bow tie.

Lawrence's after-party look takes after a similar timeless essence that characterized her red-carpet ensemble. As a Dior ambassador, she repped the French fashion house in a midnight blue velvet gown with sophisticated details, such as a deep V neckline and a cinched waist. She paired the dress with a pearl-embellished clutch and diamond jewelry from Tiffany & Co.

The Hunger Games alum attended the show as a nominee in the category of Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, which recognized her performance in No Hard Feelings. She ultimately lost the Globe to pal Emma Stone.
