Jennifer Hudson recently announced season 2 of The Jennifer Hudson Show, and she’s very busy getting the word out. And, of course, she’s not slacking in the fashion department while she’s doing it.

J-Hud just went on Jimmy Kimmel Live looking amazingly strong and happy in a sparkly minidress. Apparently the 41-year-old really loved the look, because she shared three Instagram posts that featured it, too. There’s Jennifer in the dress, looking all glowy with a cool wavy bob; Jennifer showing off miles of toned legs while singing texts from the parents of Kimmel staffers; and showing off those legs again while talking to Jimmy.

People were all over it on Instagram. “You so prettyyyy 😍😍,” one person wrote, while another said, “JHud got legs for days.”

And here is another shot of her legs in that dress from outside the studio:

If you're curious to know more about the star's health and wellness routines, you might recall that Jennifer went on a major weight loss journey about 20 years ago and lost 80 pounds. She previously said on the British talk show Lorraine that she tries to eat healthy these days to maintain that weight loss.

I don't really have time to do much [working out], so I really just watch what I eat," she said. "I'm very careful and cautious of what I'm eating, so I just try to pace those meals throughout the day. Like, okay, eat here, don't eat here. When it's early in the morning, I say, okay, I would've been asleep ... so I'm not going to eat. I'm very conscious of what I put in my body."

Jennifer also told Yahoo that portion control is important to her. “I don't let the food intimidate me," she said. "If it's too much, I just get rid of it... And I make sure I know what it is. It's all about portions for the most part.”

While Jennifer doesn’t have a ton of time to work out, she still stays super active. She recently shared on her show that she loves to play basketball (and she’s a regular at Lakers games).

Also, Jennifer used to be a Weight Watchers spokesperson, and she previously told the brand that she uses mindset shifts to try to motivate herself to exercise.

“Your mind is strong, and it can take you away if you want it to,” she said. “Sometimes during a workout, I imagine that I’m somewhere else, like on the runway or out at a park or on the beach. That trick keeps you from getting all negative about a workout when it gets hard, too. I remember when I couldn’t even run. And now, I can run on a treadmill for 20 minutes straight! Taking my mind off it really helped.”

Congrats on the new season, J-Hud!
