Jenna Coleman Ponders a Killer Revenge Plan in Amazon’s Wilderness Trailer

Jenna Coleman is a wife looking to settle a score with her cheating husband in the trailer for Wilderness, a revenge thriller premiering Friday, Sept. 15 on Prime Video (with all six episodes).

Written and created by Marnie Dickens (Gold Digger, Thirteen) and based on B.E. Jones’ novel of the same name, Wilderness is described as “a tale of betrayal from the intoxicating pull of an affair to the devastation it leaves behind.”

Coleman stars as Liv, who with husband Will (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) seem to have it all — a rock-solid marriage, a glamorous new life in New York…. Until Liv learns about Will’s infidelity. (And the lies don’t stop there.)

As the British marrieds embark on the American road trip that Liv has always dreamed of — from the Grand Canyon to Yosemite, and ending with a weekend in Las Vegas (OK, you lost us with that last one, Liv) — viewers will be served “a darkly twisted thriller exploring a marriage gone wrong, which shifts into a cat-and-mouse psychological chess game between husband and wife,” Coleman said ahead of the SAG-AFTRA strike.

“[It’s] a drama about codependency and freedom. Boundaries and blurred edges. Revenge and sanity, or the lack thereof,” Coleman added. “Ultimately Liv’s tale is one of survival … a very primal, visceral, and feminine tale of coming into her own.”

Wilderness, as previously reported, features Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version)” as the song that plays over the opening titles.

Will you follow Coleman, Jackson-Cohen and Benson into the Wilderness?
