Jenna Bush Hager Offers Up Apology After She Made 'a Big Deal' on Air

Jenna Bush Hager didn't mean to make such a fuss over a missing Taylor Swift T-shirt.

The Today show host recently apologized for making "a big deal" over a misunderstanding with jeweler Jennifer Miller, who she accused of not returning her T-shirt with Swift's name on it.

Bush Hager, 41, called Miller out for not returning the merch live on air in a previous episode, and her comments eventually got around to Miller, who decided to make it right.

During the Friday, Nov. 3 broadcast of the "Social Dilemma" segment of the Today show, Hoda Kotb revealed that she had a package in her dressing room for Bush Hager, which was sent from none other than Miller.

"Wait, wait, you’re not gonna believe this,” Kotb said through a laugh. "She sent a package, and it’s in my dressing room for you. For you!"

While Kotb, 59, went to retrieve the package, Bush Hager filled in the crowd on the deal with the T-shirt, noting that she felt like she "guilted" Miller into returning the shirt.

"Here’s a Today show social dilemma. Jenna, on TV, tells Hoda that Hoda has given Jen Miller a shirt of mine and never returned it. Jen Miller is embarrassed and decided to send it back to Hoda to give to Jenna," she said, while asking the camera, "Is that a dilemma?"

Kotb then returned with the package, consisting of the T-shirt in question, plus a handwritten note and a jewelry bag.

"Oh Jen, I feel sorry that I made a big deal," Bush Hager lamented while opening the package. "Oh, and she even gave me something because she felt bad!"

"She wrote a handwritten note," Bush Hager stated, while further clearing up any bad blood. "Guess who was the social dilemma of that one? Me, for shaming her on television and shaming you, thank you, Jen Miller."
