Jane Lynch Teases “Only Murders in the Building'”s 4th Season After Her Character’s Murder: 'I’m in It a Lot' (Exclusive)
Season 4 of the Hulu show will center around investigating the suspicious circumstances behind Lynch's character Sazz and her death

In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE at the Alzheimer’s Association Magic of Music Gala on May 9, the actress, 63, shared what's to come in season 4 after her character Sazz Pataki was shot and killed at the end of last season.
"Well, I'm the murder victim, which is not a tease," she explained. "And so I have some really great flashbacks."
Lynch went on to reveal that she'll "also appear in [the season] another way," but kept mum on the specifics in an effort to keep viewers in suspense.

"I don't want to give it away though, but I'm in it a lot," she smiled. "I'm in five out of 10 episodes, so I'm excited."
In the Hulu dramedy, the Glee alum takes on the role of Sazz, Steve Martin's Charles-Hayden Savage Hollywood stunt double.
Season 4 will see Charles, Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez) and Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) “searching for answers about who killed her, if they were actually aiming for Charles and why anyone would want to kill either of them," per The Hollywood Reporter.

“I think the idea of what you create is a thing you put out to the world, and sometimes you can’t be prepared for the repercussions of what potentially the world does with your thing, and how they feel about it,” he explained.
“That’s a challenging line to walk, and sometimes you have to face it in that way,” he continued. “So, the podcast and everything else that’s happened, and what it all means, and what it could have been meaning all along. That’s a really interesting world to look at for these three who stepped in that way.”
In addition to Lynch, Martin, Gomez and Short, season 4 will see the return of Meryl Streep while Eva Longoria, Eugene Levy and Kumail Nanjiani will play characters with big roles in the investigation of Sazz’s death.
