Jamie Lee Curtis recommends these three Providence restaurants on her Instagram

Jaime Lee Curtis is on a food tour of Rhode Island.

Okay, that might be overstating it a little bit. She's in Rhode Island to film the political comedy movie "Ella McCay." But while she's here, she's taking in the local food scene. And who can blame her?

She's also the type to post her meals to Instagram. Last week, she gave Providence's "Little Sister" a glowing review of her brunch, recommending other people give the "lovely little corner café" a try.

Since then, she's back posting with two more spots.

'Delicious' food at New Rivers in Providence

New Rivers, 7 Steeple St, in Providence, won her seal of approval, according to a recent post.

"A stones throw from my apartment is this delicious family run restaurant @newriversbeau where I hosted a cast dinner with our Director to say thank you to him and for choosing Providence," she captioned a photo of the restaurant. "Because the menu switches often I don't have a picture of the roast chicken and lobster rolls, but you can just imagine, and find out for yourself."

New Rivers is a bistro that prides itself on seasonal cooking, so as Curtis said the menu does change often.

Her favorite pastry at Seven Stars Bakery

Everyone who comes to Rhode Island loves Seven Stars Bakery; it was voted one of the best coffee shops in Rhode Island by readers. Curtis wrote on Instagram that she found one her first day in the city and made it a habit.

"The first day I found @sevenstarsbakery and their sticky buns with caramel and nuts and my guess is a smattering of butter and sugar, she wrote. "They became my daily visit."

Brunch with the stars: Jamie Lee Curtis recommends 'this lovely little' spot in Providence

Who else is in Providence for the filming of 'Ella McCay'?

"Ella McCay" filming is slated through late April, so the stars of the film will be in the Ocean State for a little bit longer.

In addition to Curtis, the film stars Emma Mackey and  Woody Harrelson. Harrelson, who starred in the movie "Kingpin," was spotted bowling at Lang's Bowlarama in Cranston in February. He has great bowling form, according to staff.
