Jamey Noel case: Former Clark County Sheriff's daughter arrested on theft and tax evasion

The daughter of a former Clark County, Indiana, sheriff Jamey Noel was arrested Friday in connection with an ongoing fraud investigation.

Kasey Noel was charged with five counts of theft and four counts of tax evasion. She was taken into taken into custody without incident at the Clark County Courthouse, and was booked into the Clark County Detention Center before being transported to the Scott County Detention Center. She is expected to make her first court appearance at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

Her father, Jamey Noel, is under police investigation for various accusations of fraud in both his career and personal life that allegedly occurred while he was in public office and served as the CEO of a local nonprofit. He was first arrested in November 2023 on 15 felony charges, and an additional 10 charges were filed against him in February. His wife, Misty Noel, was also arrested in February and charged with five counts of theft and five counts of tax evasion.
