James Cook catches his fumble and keeps on running to save Bills on Monday Night Football

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook fumbled on the first play of Monday Night Football and was briefly benched.

He fumbled on the last possession of the fourth quarter and was the hero.

Cook took a handoff in the fourth quarter with the Bills trailing the Denver Broncos 21-15. He sprinted up the middle lost the ball, but picked it up in stride as he bounced back to him off the turf. Cook continued running for a total gain of 42 yards on the play.

Buffalo ran the ball all six plays and went 75 yards for the go-ahead score. Cook was given five straight carries on the drive and Josh Allen capped it with a 2-yard touchdown run to give the Bills a 22-21 lead.
