Jalen Green has new motivation for his performance on the basketball court.

During a post-game interview in March 2024, the Houston Rockets star confirmed that he was expecting a baby with his girlfriend, former Basketball Wives LA star Draya Michele.

Green has made a name for himself in professional basketball on the All-Rookie First Team in 2022 and has been making waves in the NBA since he began the recruitment process.

Off the court, Green has been romantically linked to Michele since August 2023. In April 2024, they hosted a baby shower to celebrate the impending arrival of their daughter.

Michele starred on Basketball Wives LA

Michele is no stranger to the world of professional sports. She has had several relationships with athletes, including former Washington Wizards player Gilbert Arenas, leading to her appearance on the show Basketball Wives LA.

The model has also been engaged twice — to New York Jets player Tyrod Taylor and former Dallas Cowboys cornerback, Orlando Scandrick.

She has two sons from previous relationships and a baby on the way with Green

Michele has two sons from previous relationships. She named her firstborn Kniko and later welcomed another son, Jru, with Scandrick.

On International Women's Day in 2024, Michele announced her third pregnancy with a series of photos featuring her baby bump.

"As women, we navigate through so much, often leading us to question, ‘What is my purpose?’ For me, the magic lies in motherhood and the awe-inspiring ability to bring life into this world over the span of two decades," she wrote on Instagram.

Michele went on, revealing the sex of her and Green's baby.

"If anything can surpass the wonder of being a woman, it’s the privilege of bringing another woman into existence," she added. "We are overjoyed to share our love for you, little girl. I'm excited to speak words to the daughter I never thought I’d have."

Michele didn’t share the name of the baby's father but NBA player Kyle Kuzma revealed that Green was the father with his comment, “It’s up familyyy @jalen @drayamichele ❤️," per Page Six.

Green confirmed Michele's pregnancy in a post-game interview

Green shared that he was going to be a father in a post-game interview following the Rockets game against the Wizards in late March 2024.

He listed “my family [and] my baby” as his priorities after scoring a career-high 42 points, per Page Six.

Green and Michele haven't shared much about their relationship. When she was a guest on Stepping Into the Shade Room in September 2023, Michele was asked about her love life and said she would rather keep that information private.

However, the pair were seen out and about together in August of 2023. They have yet to make their relationship Instagram official but Michele has posted photos of herself courtside supporting Green.

Green has Michele's name tattooed on his stomach

Page Six reported in March 2024 that Green has Michele's first name tattooed on his stomach. The news broke when he posted a sweet tribute to his sister on his Instagram Stories.

Fans were able to zoom in and see the name "Draya" tattooed on his lower stomach. Neither Green nor Michele have commented on the artwork publicly.
