Evan McPherson kicked a game-winning field goal to lift the Cincinnati Bengals to a 34-31 overtime win against the Jaguars in Jacksonville on an eventful night in which Joe Burrow's backup quarterback, Jake Browning, looked a lot like Burrow himself.

Browning completed 32 of his 37 attempts for 354 passing yards with a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown in his second NFL start. Jags backup C.J. Beathard replaced injured starter Trevor Lawrence late in the game.

"I just marvel at how cool and calm he's been throughout this game," ESPN's Troy Aikman said during overtime, after praising Browning earlier in the broadcast. "I mean nothing has rattled him. … This is pretty amazing what he's been able to do. … He's been fun to watch."

"Looks like he's been in the league for years," play-by-play announcer Joe Buck added. "One of the most entertaining games of the season. And Jake Browning has an NFL win, and did he earn it tonight!"

Eli Manning also was impressed with Browning's effort.

The Bengals entered the game having lost nine consecutive Monday Night Football road games.
